It took place on the 25th February 2012. at 12:00 to 13:00 GMT
It was brilliant!
We are asking Rotary Clubs, businesses, organisations, schools, scouts etc to organise a mini Swimarathon. The project is to raise money to defeat Polio world wide, and also set a new world record for the most number of people swimming 100 metres within one hour.
The event is timed to take place at 12 noon GMT all around the world (so an early morning swim in New Zealand !) and our local event will be held at The Meres Leisure Centre, Grantham - be there!
It will be great fun, a lively atmopshere, a record breaking event and it will help eliminate Polio around the world.
