RotarySwimarathon Photography Policies

Photographs at the event

Following the success in recent years, the Rotary Swimarathon Committee Photographers will be taking team photographs again.

The problem is, as an organisation. The Rotary Club of Grantham has a duty of care to ensure that we are operating within the law regarding Child Protection.

Our policy is - we will not take any team photographs unless we have been notified otherwise by the Team Captain. The Swimarathon committee will print a team photo/certificate for each swimmer free of charge.

Photographs may be used by the Grantham Journal and on our website

The Grantham Journal will also be in attendance taking photographs for their newspaper and  Website.

Again in 2020 a promotional video will be made by Gordon Seabrook - again if you do not wish to be featured you must inform your Team Captain and the Pool Manager on the day.

Under the rules of the Meres Leisure Centre no one else is allowed to take phoptographs or use video equipment  unless they have their express permission and that of the Rotary Club of Grantham.

The Swimarathon Pool Manager will announce these rules at the start of every swimming session.

This policy will be reviewed annually - last reviewed 16th January 2020
